Tommy Hilfiger has a son who raps about weed and his fondness for smoking it.

I'm sure everyone is aware of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, whose clothing line transformed Hip-Hop fashion in the 1990s. Well, aside from Mr. Hilfiger having a couple of daughters, he also has a twenty- two year old son that goes by his rap alias- Rich Hil. Growing up in Glenville, CT , young Rich apparently took a strong interest in rap and decided to go against daddy's high-scale lifestyle. So what did he do? He literally covered his entire body with tattoos and picked rap as a career. He rhymes about weed primarily, along with morphine and getting girls hooked on drugs. It's pretty uplifting stuff. He delivers each lyrical masterpiece with a forced nasally, raspy and lazy drawl. Young Rich also reps No Limos, which is his movement against the rich and fabulous and there means of transportation? Bad person? Nah. Confused rich kid who's using tattoos and a potty mouth to subconsciously rebel against daddy? Yeah, I'd say so. Hey regardless, I'm sure he ain't got the time and if his daddy says he's fine......
NO LIMOS!

Good Old Jimi Hendrix dropping new album.

So once upon a time, when music was passionate, thought-out and not the product of cookie-cutter record label/factories, there lived a man that went by the name of
Jimi Hendrix. He wielded a glorious Fender Stratocaster guitar and in 1967 he gave us some of the most prolific and memorable Rock and Roll music of all time. Unfortunately, we lost the guitar-god in 1970 in a bizarre vomiting-from-wine incident. But lucky for us, in the three years of his fame, Jimi practically lived in the studio. Thanks to this, we now have an album of unreleased material titled People, Hell and Angels set to be released in March 2013. Considering, he himself only released three albums while he was alive, it's pretty awesome to see some fresh material from the legend. ROCK AND ROLL.

Rock fan or not, check out Jimi's iconic performance of the Star Spangled Banner at 1969's Woodstock festival. It's said to represent his disgust with America's then involvement in the Vietnam War.

Oh, you didn't know? Yeah,Mac Miller is a jazz musician....

So, everyone's favorite backpacker/swag rapper/frat rapper Mac Miller has decided to snap the band of musical conventionality and boldly record a jazz project? Yep, the 22 year old star has decided to release YOU, a five song EP where he sings soulful jazz tunes while doing all of the tapes production under the alias of Larry Lovestein and the Velvet Revival. Impressive? Yes. Mind Blowing? Not quite. The Mac Miller falsetto is not my personal favorite vocal, but overall the tape has heart. Call it what you want, but this is unchartered territory for most Hip Hop artists, so Mac gets points on the sheer BALLS he possesses by putting this together. Have a scotch, have a smoke. Have a listen.By the way,I honestly had no idea there was such a need to revive velvet, but much thanks to Mac, I guess.

Where Brooklyn at??

BIGGIE SMALLS,THE MILLIONAIRE, THE MANSION.....

So heres a video I feel should get more attention then it does. It's from the show Martin with Martin Lawrence and it features the late great Brooklyn rapper in his acting debut. He actually held his own as an actor in the 1995 episode, playing an old-time friend of Martin looking for back-up singers for an up-coming show, while Martin's friends hilariously try to grab his attention. Aside from a couple of music videos, you don't see Biggie on screen much, so it's good to see The King Of NY doing his thing in a full episode. An oldie but a goodie, Enjoy. BABAY.BABAAY!

Noel Gallagher on the Alan Carr show

Noel Gallagher is the former Oasis guitarist who basically spearheaded the Britpop movement of the 90s alone with his brother, Liam. Now riding solo, he is the frontman and songwriter for his group Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds. He also pops up on talk shows from time to time, never missing a moment to light-heartedly mention the fact that he's consumed copious amounts of drugs throughout his career. Check out his pretty funny interview with UK's funnyman Alan Carr on his show Chattyman. Good stuff. Fly High Noel. Fly High.
